The purpose is to encourage networks, collaboration, and inspiration among people who engage in their local communities on Gotland and who want to exchange experiences and knowledge.
\nThe program starts at 12:00 PM with lunch at Equmeniakyrkan in V\u00e4te (locally called Missionshuset).
\nAfter that, \u201dKraftk\u00e4llan gym\u201d in V\u00e4te will be presented \u2013 a modern gym for all ages that has also become an important meeting place in the community. The operation was started with support from Leader Gute, which is financed by the EU, the Swedish state, and Region Gotland.
\nThen, V\u00e4te Sockenf\u00f6rening will tell how the association was created by transforming the previous local heritage association, and how the operation is conducted today.
\nAfter a coffee break around 2 PM, there will be a visit to Gotlands Tr\u00e4konstruktioner in V\u00e4te. The family business has received co-financing from the EU and is now focusing on creating jobs in the community and processing the Gotland timber for the island's construction market.
\nThe day will conclude with Region Gotland's Financing Team informing about various support that may be relevant for local and regional actors in Gotland's rural areas.
\nThe program is expected to end around 3:45 PM.
