– The junior project manager we are looking for will work together with me in the project ”Young Vitality in Collaboration,” says project manager Ottilia Söderström (the picture above).
The project has received 5.3 million in support from the Inheritance Fund and will start operationally in a first phase during May.
– We have advertised the position as junior project manager and want to have our new employee in place by September 1 at the latest. ”Young Vitality in Collaboration” is a comprehensive project and in addition to me, another full-time employee is needed. It is also important to bring in a junior project manager who has a broad network among young people in the rural areas of Gotland, says Ottilia.
The junior project manager will actively work to be where young people are and capture their needs and interests, in order to shape the project's content and activities accordingly.
The tasks also include coordinating a young action group and a young network to empower young people in leadership, association theory, and organizing pedagogy.
– The junior project manager will also, together with me, lead generational meetings between young people (12–25 years) and the secondary target group 65+. This is to strengthen the capacity of older people to include young people, explains Ottilia.
The position also includes communicating the project via social media with text, photo, and film.
– You who are applying for the position should therefore have a junior profile, which may mean that you have recently completed high school or another higher education and are at the beginning of your career. And of course, it is important that you are passionate about young people's inclusion and rural development, says Ottilia.
