”Together for our community” is run by Leader Gute in collaboration with rural areas in Gotland. The project aims to lead to concrete plans for strengthened social cohesion in rural areas through local AW meetings and ”writing meetings”.
The parishes Stenkyrka, Lummelunda, Martebo, Tingstäde, Hangvar, and Hall in collaboration are one of three rural areas participating in the project starting this spring. The other two areas are Hemse and its surroundings and Roma and its surroundings. In the autumn of 2025, three more rural areas on the island will join. In total, six areas will participate in the project, which will conclude in the spring of 2027.
In the introductory AW meetings, ideas are developed and some of these are selected to become concrete plans for strengthened social cohesion in the community during the upcoming ”writing meetings”.
The concept is based on equal parts clear structure and fun socializing. Everyone in the participating communities is welcome and there is no cost!
