The organizer of the festival is Leader Gute's project ”Young Vitality in Collaboration,” which is funded by the Inheritance Fund. The festival program has been shaped by Gotlandic youth and includes everything from music and fire-eating to Gotlandic sports and EPA exhibition.
Become a volunteer and support the youth!
– The festival runs from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturday, August 29. A long line of associations and actors selected by our young festival group will arrange events and workshops. There will be live music from a number of Gotlandic bands and musicians on two stages. The entire event is, of course, alcohol- and drug-free, says the project leader. Emmalill Ljungberg.
Adult volunteers are needed to be safety hosts and parking attendants during the festival. The Romakloster parish and local associations have already signed up for these tasks, but more are needed.
– Great if many adults want to step up as volunteers for the festival and for the youth! It's fine to email me to sign up as a volunteer or ask questions. We respond quickly and suggest times and tasks for everyone who reaches out, explains Emmalill.
