Emmalill new junior project manager in Young Life Force in collaboration

On April 13, Emmalill Ljungberg took up the position as junior project manager in the Leader Gutes Inheritance Fund-funded project Young vitality in collaboration.

Emmalill replaces Matilda Wekelin, who previously held the position but moved to other activities at the beginning of the year.

– It feels very good to have Emmalill employed in the project! Her background and experience will be a great asset, says project manager Ottilia Söderström.

This is how Emmalill introduces herself:

– I am 20 years old and was born and raised on Gotland. I graduated from Gutegymnasium's aesthetic line with a focus on music last year and worked as a barista in parallel with my studies. Previously, I have worked in a store and as a musician at Gotlandsmusiken over a summer. After graduating, I worked as a project manager in the association Vår Lilla Planet and started their Inheritance Fund project Teenage Kicks.

– Even outside of work, there is a lot of music and singing. I am the singer in the rock band Akademin and have a lot of gigs and rehearsals in my free time. In addition to this, I also write my own music with a bit of singer-songwriter flair. I also love everything creative and enjoy painting and writing – and I like to do it together with others!

– I accepted this job because I see how important it is to bring life to Gotland's rural areas and create the meeting places that I wished existed when I was younger! I also love the variety and problem-solving that a project manager job involves.
