New activity park in Fårösund
In spring 2022, the Activity Park in Fårösund was inaugurated. Here there is a new extensive outdoor gym and a 500-meter long mountain bike track. The park has already become a favorite among many adults and children.
– We are very pleased with how the park has turned out. The hope is that the activity park will become a really nice meeting point for both the locals and visitors who want to exercise and have fun in a lovely environment, says Marcus Larsson, chairman of KA3 IF and member of the project group for the activity park.
About the project
- Project name: ”Activity Park Fårösund”
- Project owner: Fårösund Gymnastics and Sports Club
- Purpose: to create a meeting place that invites physical activity for the association's activities and other visitors. The activity park also broadens the associations' range of activities, allowing more people to have the opportunity to participate in organized leader-led activities.
- CASE: to create an accessibility-adapted activity park with outdoor gym, motor skills track, and MTB track. The goal is also to conduct five trial sessions with instructors/inspirators and to promote the activity park through the associations' social media.
