General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, also known as GDPR, regulates how authorities, companies, and organizations handle personal data. The regulation aims, among other things, to protect your personal data so that it is not used for purposes other than those for which you provided it.

To personal data includes all kinds of information that can be linked to a living – natural person, for example

• online identifiers
• Even data such as IP numbers can, if combined with other data, together constitute personal data.

Processing of personal data includes all handling of personal data, such as collection, registration, and storage.

Data Controller is the one who alone or together with others determines the purposes and means for the processing of personal data.

Leader Gute Non-Profit Association 802497-3920, is the data controller for the processing of personal data described below. The most common reason we have information about you is that the organization you represent has applied for or contacted us regarding questions about project support, or that you have participated as a participant in one of our activities.

What personal data do we collect and when?

We collect personal and contact information, such as name, email address, and phone number, that you provide to us, for example when you submit a question or feedback using the contact form. Also in other contexts, such as when you interact with us on social media, we may collect such personal and contact information.

If you have been, or are, a participant in any of our projects or submitted a checklist, your data is stored for as long as required by law/contract. For the processing of personal data specified in the application for support or payment in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's IT system, the Swedish Board of Agriculture is the data controller.

We may also actively collect personal and contact information about you for the purpose of communicating our support and activities, or to contact individuals with skills that are important for the implementation of our operations. For example, if you work as a contact person at a company or are a public figure, journalist, or similar.

As a visitor to our website we may collect information about how you interact with and use our web pages as well as technical device information, such as IP address, language settings, browser settings, time zone, operating system, platform, and screen resolution.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We never keep your personal data longer than is necessary for each purpose or for what is necessary for other legitimate interests.

The collected data that is collected automatically via our website may be stored for quality assurance purposes for a period of up to two years.

Information related to Leader Gute's project and operations funded by Leader funds is stored during the association's operational period, as well as the upcoming operational period for the purpose of, for example, informing about and reporting previous projects. Information and documents covered by the Swedish Board of Agriculture's requirements for Leader funds will be archived and stored for a maximum of an additional ten years. This is because EU regulations state that support-related material must be stored and made available for an additional 10 years after a project has been reported. This, combined with Swedish legislation, such as the Accounting Act, means that personal data is handled, and will need to be stored, for a long time within Leader Gute.

Documents that have historical value may be archived in the association's archive to preserve our collective memory. The information of the association's members is stored as long as the membership continues.
