New application round for Project Support open!

On August 15, a new application round for Leader Gute's Project Support opened! A checklist must be sent to Leader Gute's office no later than September 25 – you will receive feedback on your project idea in good time before the application round closes on October 15.

Applications are made in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's E-service no later than October 15. Leader Gute's board then decides on the prioritization of received applications on December 9. Thereafter, the Swedish Board of Agriculture makes a decision on support.
Project support is for larger development projects with broad support and benefits in one or more areas in Gotland's rural areas.
Organizations or companies applying for project support must have significant implementation capacity as well as liquidity that covers approximately 45% of the project cost.

Project support can be applied for within three categories
Since May 2024, Project Support can be applied for within three different categories:
General Project Support within Leader Gute's three intervention areas; ”Sustainable entrepreneurship,” ”Living and residing on the whole island,” and ”Accelerating climate and energy transition.” General Project Support varies according to need up to approximately one million kronor.
Feasibility studies for projects within ”New co-creative meeting places” and ”Environmental projects.” These feasibility study supports are intended to provide a basis for implementation projects with activities. A project can apply for a maximum of 200,000 kronor.
(For General Project Support and Feasibility Studies, there are currently 4.6 million kronor left to distribute in this program period).
Calls for proposals within ”New co-creative meeting places” and ”Environmental projects.” The majority of the project budget in these calls should go to activities. For these two calls, 2 million kronor each has been allocated, and support of up to 500,000 kronor can be applied for per project.
