The Study Association Vuxenskolan Region Gotland has previously conducted a pre-study, where they mapped the needs of local heritage associations and community center associations in Gotland. This pre-study clearly shows that there is a great need for support and development to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges.

Now, the Study Association Vuxenskolan is taking the next step by implementing a project that creates concrete opportunities for active members to meet, share knowledge, and develop together.

The project aims to establish new and inclusive meeting places where associations can share experiences, find common solutions, and strengthen their activities. Through collaboration and learning, they want to help associations to:

• Modernize their working methods: Explore new forms of associations and adapt structures to today's needs.
• Engage more voluntary forces: Strengthen methods for recruiting and motivating volunteers.
• Develop inclusive activities: Reach young people, create intergenerational meetings, and counteract involuntary loneliness.

With these efforts, the Study Association Vuxenskolan wants to contribute to an association life characterized by long-term sustainability, increased collaboration, and greater engagement in Gotland's countryside. The ambition is for the associations not only to meet their challenges – they should become driving forces for the development of the local community and a stronger social cohesion.
