Preparedness for rural businesses

Preparedness for rural enterprises” is available in two different forms of mini-support: one for the purchase of services and one for the purchase of products. The support is paid after projects are completed and final reports are submitted.

The purpose of both of these supports is the same: To strengthen the preparedness capacity of companies and development companies in Gotland's rural areas, and to give them the conditions to contribute to societal preparedness..

The target groups are also the same for both supports: companies, economic associations and development companies in Gotland's rural areas.

Preparedness for rural businesses

Purchasing of services

  • This support goes towards the purchase of services which contributes to to strengthen the preparedness capacity of companies, economic associations and development companies in Gotland's rural areas, and to give them the conditions to contribute to societal preparedness.
  • This may, for example, apply to training and skills development in emergency preparedness for companies.
  • It can also include analyses, planning, consulting efforts, study visits or testing of equipment/systems linked to emergency preparedness development at companies or groups of companies.
  • The support can also go towards meeting costs on invoice to start a business network, collaboration within an industry or collaboration between businesses and local civil society for emergency preparedness development.
  • Furthermore, the support may apply to analyses and consulting efforts linked to product or service development for increased preparedness.
  • The support cannot cover salaries or ongoing operations.
  • A project owner may apply for this support for only one project and projects that have already begun cannot apply for support.
  • Support cannot be provided for initiatives that companies are required to undertake by authorities or through regulations or laws.
  • The requested grant amount should finance 70% of the current project – the rest should be self-financing.
  • The amount of support may be between SEK 15,000 and SEK 40,000. including any VAT per project.
  • The entire amount is paid after the project is completed and the final report is submitted.

Preparedness for rural businesses

Purchasing products

    • This support goes towards the purchase of products which contributes to strengthening the preparedness capacity of companies, economic associations and development companies in rural Gotland, and giving them the conditions to contribute to societal preparedness.
    • A project owner may apply for this support for only one project and projects that have already begun cannot apply for support.
    • Support cannot be provided for the purchase of products that companies are required to procure by authorities or through regulations or laws.
    • The support does not apply to consumable products, but must be products that are used for a longer period of time. Second-hand products/equipment are not eligible for support.
    • The purchases may, for example, be hjump starters, backup power intake for external power plants, equipment for emergency preparedness or equipment for developing products or services linked to preparedness.
    • The purchased product/equipment may cost a total of a maximum of SEK 24,000. excluding any VAT. The subsidy is 70% of the purchase cost. The rest is self-financing.
    • The entire amount is paid after the project is completed and the final report is submitted.

    THIS FORM OF SUPPORT IS DIVIDED INTO APPLICATIONS FOR FOUR DIFFERENT GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS.

    In this context, northern Gotland means the part of the island that is north of the marked border on the map. Including the circled area at Slite. This division is based on what is called the RegSo area and governs geographically divided support from Leader Gute.

    MIDDLE GOTLAND

    In this context, middle Gotland means the part of the island that is between the marked borders on the map. Including the circled area at Roma. This division is based on what are called RegSo areas and governs geographically divided support from Leader Gute.

    VISBY SURROUNDINGS

    In this context, the rural area within the Visby area means the part of the island that is within the outer marked border on the map, with the exception of Visby city which is circled in the middle. This division is based on what are called RegSo areas and governs geographically divided support from Leader Gute.
