The purpose is to encourage networks, collaboration, and inspiration among people who engage in their local communities on Gotland and who want to exchange experiences and knowledge.
The program starts at 12:00 PM with lunch at Equmeniakyrkan in Väte (locally called Missionshuset).
After that, ”Kraftkällan gym” in Väte will be presented – a modern gym for all ages that has also become an important meeting place in the community. The operation was started with support from Leader Gute, which is financed by the EU, the Swedish state, and Region Gotland.
Then, Väte Sockenförening will tell how the association was created by transforming the previous local heritage association, and how the operation is conducted today.
After a coffee break around 2 PM, there will be a visit to Gotlands Träkonstruktioner in Väte. The family business has received co-financing from the EU and is now focusing on creating jobs in the community and processing the Gotland timber for the island's construction market.
The day will conclude with Region Gotland's Financing Team informing about various support that may be relevant for local and regional actors in Gotland's rural areas.
The program is expected to end around 3:45 PM.
Leader Gute will arrange for certain transportation to this event in Väte.
