At the spring association meeting in Leader Gute, three new members were elected to the board. From left in the picture above: Kati Ahtee, Gotland's United Visitor Industry (private sector), Christoffer-Robin Maurin, Cultural Association Roxy (non-profit sector) and Maude Fyrenius, County Administrative Board of Gotland (public sector).

Here follows a presentation of the three new members:

Kati Ahtee:

– I work as a business developer and project manager at Gotland's United Visitor Industry. I primarily work in an EU project – Sustainable Plejs – aimed at developing Gotland as a sustainable destination. I work closely with the visitor industry companies and support them in their business development, and I actively navigate between the public sector, business promotion, and the visitor industry in Gotland.

– I am an avid padel player. I enjoy playing a lot and compete a bit at the local level. Otherwise, I am a sports parent to two active boys in their early teens. You can often find me at a kiosk on a football field near you or coordinating sock or cookie sales for various associations. Besides Leader Gute, I am also on the board of Visby Tennis Club.

– Engaging in the development of Gotland as an attractive place to live and work is very close to my heart, which Leader Gute also works on through its efforts. I hope that through my experiences in business development, sustainability, and projects, I can contribute some good angles to this important work.

Christoffer-Robin Maurin:

– I work with communication in all its forms. Whether it involves graphic design, PR work, text, film, social media, events, radio, or podcasts. I am a bit of a Swiss Army knife personality when it comes to communicative work. Generalist is what it's called in advertising agency language.

– I am a so-called hobby musician in my spare time and try to be on stage as often as I can. I also write music and have a couple of albums under my belt. I am also involved in the Cultural Association Roxy, particularly the Jazz Club Visby, where I am one of those leading the activities.

– As I understood it, there was a need for someone with a broad network within culture in Gotland in Leader Gute's board. And I really have that. Both through work and my leisure engagement, I have met large parts of the Gotlandic cultural life.

Maude Fyrenius:

– I work at the Rural Development Unit at the County Administrative Board, primarily as an advisor and with competence development within the project ”A Rich Agricultural Landscape” but also with Food Preparedness and the regional Food and Agriculture Strategy..

– I have a great interest in animals and enjoy clearing my own pastures. I am also involved in the board of the Northern Gotland Riding Club and the Elinghem Parish Association.

– In the role as a member of Leader Gute's board, I represent the public sector. I hope to contribute with both an overarching perspective, but also with specialized expertise and networks. I see Leader Gute as a given platform when it comes to rural development and I look forward to working on the board.
