Support for mini-projects:
feasibility studies in collaboration – develop your local vitality!
How can your community take advantage of resources, ideas, and opportunities to take positive steps forward? A good start is to conduct a feasibility study in local collaboration and shape a smart rural strategy with clear goals. The feasibility study can be a preparatory work based on a new project idea, or a continuation of previous development work.
To support this, Leader Gute offers a new support for mini-projects. It is called ”Feasibility studies in collaboration – develop your local vitality!”.
To facilitate your local work with this type of feasibility study, we have developed a simple and effective template with questions to discuss and work from.
The support is aimed at associations. To be able to apply for the support, the project owner must collaborate with at least one other local actor. A project owner may apply for this support for only one project. Already started projects cannot apply for support.
The support is paid after the project has been completed and a final report has been submitted.
The purpose of this support is to produce feasibility studies in the form of ”smart rural strategies” with the help of the template developed by Leader Gute. You answer the four questions of the template (Where are we? What do we want? What do we have? What should we do?) that guide you in the work.
The goal is to provide communities, societies, and places with assistance to collectively meet the social, environmental, and economic challenges that exist.
The work on the feasibility study can take place over a longer period – the entire work does not need to occur at one and the same time.
The project owner must collaborate with at least one other local actor. And a project owner may apply for this support for only one project.
Within the framework of this support, associations, economic associations/foundations representing general interests or equivalent may apply for 15,000 – 40,000 kronor including VAT for example:
- Rent a venue for a meeting
- Hire a process leader or speaker
- Cover travel costs from transport companies for study trips
- Purchase consulting services for analysis/basis NOTE! The support can not be given for help with writing applications for other support, or producing documentation for specific permits and approvals (e.g. building permit drawings).
NOTE! To be able to apply for payment when the project is completed, the template for ”Living rural areas” must have been used in the project. And the answers you have written in the template must be attached to the final report/application for payment.
The template for the method ”Living rural areas” can be downloaded here: that PPT and as PDF.
In the PPT document, your answers can be filled in directly on a computer. The PDF document can be printed out and the answers filled in by hand. The answers can of course also be written in a separate response document if you prefer – and supplemented with additional documents/text.
