General project support is once again available for application. Projects applying for this support must be public-benefit and have local anchoring in the island's countryside. They must also fit into one of Leader Gute's three focus areas: Living and residing on the entire island, Accelerating climate and energy transition, or Sustainable entrepreneurship.
NOTE! The vast majority of Leader Gute's budget for project support has now been allocated. Therefore, there is only a limited budget for ”General project support.” A total of 500,000 kronor is available for application. The amount can go to one or more projects run by different project owners.

General project support
To be eligible for this support, the project must be public-benefit and anchored with the local target group, that is, the people affected by the project locally. It is important that the target group requests the project and actively participates in the project's implementation. Eligible applicants are local actors within the non-profit, private, or public sector.
The project must also fit into one of the three focus areas in Leader Gute's strategy:
– Living and residing on the entire
– Accelerating climate and energy transition
– Sustainable entrepreneurship

NOTE! Currently, a total of 500,000 kronor is still available for application within General project support.The support level is 40–100 percent. The support can go to one or more projects with different project owners. How Leader Gute's board chooses to prioritize applications in case of potential funding shortages is determined at this stage by ”Guidelines for prioritizing projects in case of funding shortages” which you can download HERE.
