”"Readiness for rural businesses" – new mini-supports

New grants within "Preparedness for rural businesses" are now searchable. Companies and development companies in the island's rural areas can apply for support both for services and for products within the theme.

”Preparedness for rural businesses” will contribute to strengthening the preparedness capacity of companies and development companies in Gotland's rural areas, as well as provide them with the conditions to contribute to community preparedness.

When it comes to purchasing services the grant amount will finance 70% of the current project – the rest must be self-financing. The grant amount can be between 15,000 – 40,000 kronor excluding any VAT per project. Services that can be purchased include, for example:

  • Training and skills development in preparedness for businesses.
  • Analyses, planning, consulting efforts, study visits, or testing of equipment/systems related to preparedness development in businesses or groups of businesses.
  • Meeting costs on invoice to start business networks, collaboration within an industry, or cooperation between businesses and the local civil society for preparedness development.
  • Analyses and consulting efforts related to product or service development for increased preparedness.

For the purchase of products it applies that the purchased product/equipment may cost a total maximum of 24,000 kronor excluding any VAT, and the support is 70% of the purchase cost. Purchases of products may include, for example:

  • Defibrillators.
  • Backup power intake for external generators.
  • Equipment for crisis preparedness.
  • Equipment for the development of a product or service related to preparedness.

”Preparedness for rural businesses – Purchase of products” is divided into applications for four geographical areas on the island.
