Leader Gute and our project ”We rural builders in Gotland” conduct two bus tours during Rural Week:
May 4 – Bus tour with study visits to entrepreneurs – crafts, sustainability, and recycling
On May 4, we take the bus north and meet some of the interesting entrepreneurs engaged in crafts, sustainability, and recycling in the island's rural areas; the wood visionaries at the design studio Ringvide, the recycling visionary at Gotland Garbage, and the wool visionaries at Gotland's Sock Factory. We will have lunch at the historic and locally beloved Hotel Slitebaden.
We want to highlight the rich, innovative, and interesting entrepreneurial life of Gotland's rural areas, and inspire those who have not yet dared to try their idea to take the step and discover the opportunities in running a business in the countryside. About 15 students studying community planning at Campus Gotland will join. There is room for a total of 50 participants – first come, first served! Participation is free of charge and registration is made to info@leadergute.se.

The purpose of the bus trip and study visits is to highlight the rich, innovative, and interesting entrepreneurial life of Gotland's rural areas, the entrepreneurship that exists here, and what it contributes to Gotland. We also want to inspire those who have not yet dared to try their idea to take the step and discover the opportunities in running a business in the countryside.
