Project Flora & Bär

Project Flora & Bär will create innovative beverage development through female collaboration. Here, the Gotlandic flavors of sea buckthorn, flower, and herb will be highlighted.

About the project

The company Silento AB in Rute wants to create a collaboration between female entrepreneurs in the area in this project, with the aim of jointly developing a non-alcoholic beverage based on local raw materials.

The raw materials that are in focus are sea buckthorn as well as flowers and herbs in the local area.

– The effects of developing an entirely new product together will make the companies stronger. We will open new pathways to sales and we believe that we will also open up for more locally grown. The project will also provide knowledge about the berries and plants that exist in our local area. The hope is further to contribute to employment in the countryside, says project manager Helén Hafdell.
